RSM has one of the best equipped automated welding capabilities in the automotive components sector, having invested over £1m in robotic welding equipment and skilled operators in the last few years. This has considerably enhanced its ability to provide added-value assembly services and a ‘total solution’ package for is customers. Over half the process value of work presently undertaken by RSM is now derived from its welding and assembly capability.

Equipment includes:

• 11 Panasonic arc welding robot systems for mild steel and stainless applications.

• Manual MIG and TIG Welding.

• Various Spot and Projection Welding Machines Capacity 50-300KVa.

For Typical Assembly applications:

• M6-M12 nut and stud Welding.

• Spot and projection welding of assemblies.

• TIG and MIG welding for structural fabrications.
